City professionals take to the House of Fraser catwalk

Leading professional women have recently taken to the catwalk in an event staged by the department store, House of Fraser. These women have chosen to swap the smart suits they wear for work, for fashionable outfits at the event.

Women who have been involved in the event include Karen Campbell, a partner at the leading accountancy firm Grant Thornton, Katherine Graham, a partner at the law firm Mills & Reeve and Kate Oldfield, the managing partner of the Davis Blank Furniss law firm.

Guests at the event included other high-profile women in the city and they were asked to bring their business suits they no longer used to donate to women who are trying to land their first professional job. The event is designed to raise awareness of the Inspiring Women Awards, which give awards for people who’ve achieved great things in various categories including community, business, media and the creative industries.
