Georgia May Jagger charity and fashion

Her fight to the top of the fashion industry was a rapid one, so Georgia May Jagger seems to be Marc Jacob’s obvious choice for his latest campaign. Jerry Hall and Mick’s 19 year old daughter is using beauty in a positive way by raising monies for charity.

She is helping to front the Fight Like a Girl campaign that is operated in conjunction with Brown Thomas a Dublin boutique. The entire proceeds are to help Fashion Targets Breast Cancer which is a cause very close to Georgia’s heart.

Terry, her mum’s twin sister was diagnosed with cancer in 1998 and her grandmother died from the disease that is why she became involved in this project. She says how she witnessed what they went through and saw how it also affects the family. She takes Tai Chi classes and has been a model since age 16 when she started by walking for Vivienne Westwood.

She is following in Jerry Hall’s, her mum’s footsteps who also was good using her beauty to raise money for charity. Georgia is 5’7” is known as either GM or George by her friends and is rather short for international modelling standards but because of the long golden locks,  impeccable skin and a gapping tooth grin she has become a hit on the runway.

She has appeared on the cover of Vogue and since 2009 the face of Hudson. At the tender age of 17 she won the Model of the Year in London during the British Fashion Awards.
