Jessie J is as well known for her unique dress sense as her obvious vocal talents, and she demonstrated her fun side when she appeared at London’s O2 Arena in the Jingle Bell Ball dressed up in a festive outfit at the weekend. The 23 year old from Essex appeared dressed both a Christmas Cracker and a ball covered in tinsel during her appearance at the Capital Radio organised event.
She joked that with her sunglasses which were framed with tinsel and the rest of her shimmering outfit she should now be referred to as Tinsel Tina, the Christmas Diva. The singer shouted out to the crowd that she had her Christmas glasses on, her perm out and thought that she would throw a party for 15,000 people.
Jessie performed the track ‘Who’s laughing now?’ backed by a host of female dancers clad in leather and encouraged the huge crowd to sing the chorus back to her. She was in her typically candid mode and told the audience that anyone who has seen her live would know that she was always honest, and that the stage was so big she had a stitch.
The singer had the headline slot that closed the event organised by Capital Radio and amongst her special guests was James Morrison. Jessie joked along with the audience that she had requested that he dress as a Christmas Tree but that he was having none of it. She then gave a very emotional rendition of ‘Who You Are’, before telling the audience it was the most special song she had ever written and was seen to shed some tears.
She later performed her 3rd single ‘Nobody’s Perfect’. After which she left the stage for several minutes before she returned dressed as a cracker to perform her final track of the night.
