Karl Lagerfeld the fashion legend has, over the years, inspired many a collection. His runway work has on many occasions been the talk throughout the industry. He is now coming out with a high street collaboration and setting aside his high end designs for the time being.
He is joining forces with Macys the famous department store chain. The collection will hit high street August 31 with uncharacteristically low affordable prices starring at £30. He is not a stranger to these types of collaborations as his name has been put on many collections including with Hogan, Diesel and H&M.
He loves to occasionally co-brand and sees it as an opportunity to see how to design clothes at such low prices. The designer of Chanel thinks working in collaboration with Macy’s is great since everyone can get what they want without breaking the bank.
There will be a total of 45 limited editions that will be appearing in the stores that includes a myriad of trends and designs like printed T-shirts and tweed jackets. A collection of dresses will also be included and will be in styles to highlight and accentuate the beautiful feminine figure as well as tuxedo creations with straight lines.
