The menswear action moves to Paris today, as the city gets set to show to the public its best men’s autumn and winter collections for 2013-14. Collections from several of the most famous names in the world of fashion will be presented to give the public a glimpse of the fashionable wear for men for rest of this and the beginning of next year.

At 5.30 in the afternoon, its Valentino’s turn to show off their menswear, the first time it has opted to present its collection in Paris instead of Florence, in the Pitti Uomo schedule, which it had done the last two years. This change in venue for start of the season presentation mirrors the brand’s intention to focus on its established category which it hopes will culminate in the opening of its first men’s store.

Thierry Mugler, famous for assorted line of fashion and beauty products is next in line, then immediately followed by Christian Lacroix Homme; Raf Simons, which is set to sign a deal with Adidas for creation of limited sportswear collection, is last for the day to show its collection as fashion critics and industry big-wigs in the front row search for any hints of pre-Dior show.
